New Fiction Tab Almost Ready & 'Latest Art'

You might notice we've added a few things, along with the option for uploading fics we've been working on!

We're still experimenting with trying to set up filtering, possibly tags for posts with ship names or characters? I'm still learning how to use it and I will let you all know when it's fully ready. I'll make and post a guide for how to use it. Just give me a couple weeks and it should be all ready for everyone!

We're planning to have moderation on the "other" category for the EXE and movie files to be sure no one is posting viruses or otherwise malicious. This means it won't show up until it's approved so give it a few days for me to get it manually looked over. But fic files like PDF, RTF, EPUB and DOCX will have user submitted tags and not be under moderation review before being posted. There will be a section for NSFW just like for drawn art that will be hidden to anyone not logged in and anyone under 18.

Hopefully this will be fully functional very soon!

For me NSFW art does a whole lot more in terms of self discovery and deeper exploration of relationships so I like keeping them next to their "general" counterparts. They're in their own sections already to be sure that no one who doesn't want to see them doesn't see them and for people under 18.

I am sorry I thought seriously about the name for the nsfw section. what about under fiction catagory of forum, you put sexy adventure, and its only visable to members. sexy adventure like as in reference to the part 3 theme song it fits! its enough cheeky inuenndo that would give it a fun vibe!

That's a cute name idea! Currently they're all members only already and opt in only, so no worries about that. I'm not sure if I want to restructure the larger categories for now but I'll keep that in mind if I do!

okay but if the fiction media tab starts blowing up with porn we need atleast to operate properly and put tags specifically listing m/m m/f if theres any kinks involved etc. if you need help with that I can sit down and read the fics and add tags apropriately I average about a few chapters a day when reading. i can do this as soon as I am home on july 4th.

Thanks for the offer, for now I think it should be fine. There's already the ability to only see the SFW fics so it won't get clogged up for anyone who doesn't want to see that. And for fics most people self-tag their stuff fine. Though we can still have people report if something gets missed.

Currently it's just a matter of me picking enough tags for people to use, since this system is more like picking from a list of premade tags. So my work this week will be trying to provide tags that will filter most helpfully.

pro-tip: just insert all of the bdsm terms for the nsfw bits. lupin III is so heavily kink coded pretty much all the terms for bdsm kinks would automatically be applicable to be in your tagging system.
