Yet another great Yuji Ohno album...

Disc? Album? Stream? Whatever. This is on youtube I know, and I'm sure it is probably on spotify and elsewhere.

It's gotten into summer here and I've found myself humming bossa nova tunes (~1950s-60s style slow Brazilian music). Yuji Ohno has recorded at least one collection of Lupin tracks in that style, LUPIN THE THIRD JAZZ - Bossa & Fusion and surprise surprise, it's great. If you want something kinda slow, kinda langorous, maybe a bit romantic - recommended.

If you are collecting or listening to Yuji Ohno's music, don't skip on "PART V FRENCH" which is an incredible 42 more tracks from Part V which are not included in "Si Bon Si Bon!", the "original soundtrack" for Part V. There's a ton more great music here. (My most recent such purchase.)

The one with Magnum Dance and Salut Lupin? I've been listening to it on spotify but its called Part V on the other side of France. Is it the same one?

Having listened to all of the yuji ohno albums available on spotify my personal favorite is probably the original Lupin III Jazz album. I think I might start trying to hunt down non-spotify albums on ebay or elsewhere.

I've bought some stuff digitally on ototoy.jp but there is some stuff I've had to get physically - the Cagliostro soundtrack and some remix stuff.

I just recently got Cafe Relaxin' Lupin from Barnes and Noble online of all places! It was nice to be able to get it for super cheap and no import fees to worry about haha now I have such a nice relaxing Lupin soundtrack for the house. Does anyone on here have a big physical Lupin music collection? I'm sure there's tons of CDs and vinyls too lol I wonder how many there even are!

Yeah I think so! I mean, if you look at just the Yuji Ohno discography on wikipedia, there's a lot... assuming all the specials listed there had releases. Some of those things might not be Lupin, particularly early on, but you can see most of them are Lupin related. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuji_Ohno

I don't have a big physical collection, 5 CDs, but Cafe Relaxin' Lupin is probably the second I got and it's really great. One of my go-to things to listen to when I'm trying to write.

Yup! I only realized later on that I have the Best Of the Punch the Monkey remixes and there are.. 4 discs originally???

I have one of those discs and a PS1 game of if? I think a rhythm game lol it says "rhythm action game" and I have no idea what that means.
