Watches of Lupin - Help Please

That Watch Guy
So there's a lot of watches throughout the franchise and I'm trying to catalog all of them. A lot of them are basically real watches that are slightly changes to avoid legal issues. Here is what I have:

Part 1:

Jigen's Zenith A384's:
1702072861761.jpeg
1702073532062.jpeg
Jigen wears two different A384's, one in the first episode (black dial) and one in the last (panda). There wasnt really anything close to the black dial in the 70's, but there was a different panda dial that was similar back then.

These dials and hand combination didn't exist at the time, but Zenith made it a real thing in 2019. I've found it for around 12k on chrono24 used (best place to buy second hand watches online).

Lupin's Yema Meangraf
1702073054159.jpeg
1702073163007.jpeg
Again, this specific dial didn't exist, but was made recently for a collaboration. This watch is still for sale on Rakuten for around 3.9k (I don't speak Japanese but I'm pretty sure they still have it in stock).
On another note, I have never heard of Yema before, so uh cool I guess.

Part 2:

Jigen's Rolex Submariner Date.
Layer 46.png
1702073822065.jpeg
This is like a weird mix of a bunch of Sub Dates. The bezel has notches all around, which reminds me of a mil sub. but then the Mil Sub has no date. It seems to be closest to a Ref 1680 though, even though the bezel is really thin, and a red seconds hand hasn't appeared on any submariner old or modern (I think). Prices for a 1680 range from 10k to 20k. (Thanks to this Italian thread btw https://orologi.forumfree.it/?t=71111907 and this tumblr )

Mystery of Mamo:

Jigen's Omega Speedmaster:
mamowatch.png
1702074244770.jpeg
This is either a speedmaster mk 3 or mk 4. They're pretty similar, but neither have a red seconds hand. Also the 12 hour maker is slightly off on Jigen's. I could find a mk4 for 2.3 k.

Missed by a dollar:

Zenigata's Seiko 5:
1702074376057.jpeg
1702074926708.jpeg
There's like a million variations of this watch. You can get similar new models $150. The picture above is not an exact match but close enough. (thank you this thread http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=77999)

If you are watching Lupin and somebody is wearing a watch, PLEASE send a screenshot here. I think a lot of character can be gleamed from what watches characters wear. So yeah thanks.

UPDATE (that was fast)

Another watch from this thread (http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=77999) has been identified.

Missed by a Dollar:

Lupin's Breguet Classique Power Reserve

NGL the only reason I didn't post this is because I thought it was a fake watch but then I looked a little into and and it wasn't. Also I'm not sure Lupin wears this but the thread says he does and its been a very long time since I've watched missed by a dollar so uh yeah.

I can find this on chrono24 from 11k to 33k depending on the material of the strap.

Good stuff! It seems like a lot of these watches have red/orange seconds hands for visual clarity and for going around legal issues.

One more:

Part 1:

Zenigata's King Seiko:

1702103013691.jpeg
It appears to be a running issue that Zenigata wears a seiko that's like a mix of five real seikos. It's so close to being correct but the lugs are different.

And again:

Part 2:

Jigen's thing:

Help. I think this may be an original design but there's too much detail for me to say that confidently.

Okay, so I looked the Watch up myself and stumbeld upon a Japanese Fan Blog about Lupin where someone also wrote about this Watch and also thinks that it is an original based on things like Rolex, Omega and Seiko.
(Also nice watch thread!)

I think this one could be also an original design (or maybe i'm a little bit clumsy when searching) but I haven't bern able to find any model like this one, a silver 3-6-9-12 without the markings of the rest of the numbers. It belongs to Zenigata, episode 13 part 1.

A new watch. Yippee!

Voyage to Danger:

Lupin’s clearly not real watch thing:
IMG_6025.png
So there seems to be a digital display at 12:00, so this is some sort of quartz watch. There are 2 subdials, meaning that this is some chronograph. But there’s only one pusher? How. So yeah I’m willing to bet money this is a movie original.

This is some incredible work!

That's so interesting! I knew the animators were very serious about adding real guns and machines, but I've never really paid attention to watches, great work!

Some more (sampled from this blog, but its in Japanese so here it is in English)

Sexy Lupin III:

Lupin's Longines Big Eye 7981

Notice the larger subdial at 3:00. This is definitely an near-exact match, though Monkey Punch seems to have forgotten the crown.

Lupin the 3rd (Live Action 2014):

Lupin's Omega SPEEDMASTER MICHAEL SCHUMACHER LEGEND 3559.32.00

idk why Shun Oguri is wearing it backwards but whatever.

Lupin III: Strange Psychokinetic Strategy:

1704773838087.jpeg
Did he steal Jigen's sub? Probably.

Again read the blog I linked. I literally added no new info, just some nice pictures. He's got a lot of other good detail about Lupin as well.

Part 4:

Lupin's Custom Grappling Watch:
1704864183165.jpeg
Obviously not real.

Lupin and Jigen's Patek Calatrava 5119 (not really):
lupp4.png
jigp4.png
patek.jpg
Ok these watches are clearly vague illustrations of some watch with a white dial with a seconds subdial at 6:00. The only reason I'm saying its a Calatrava is because it said qualities and because I think Lupin would wear it. HOWEVER one point of interest is that Lupin only wears this watch in the opening, and in the actual anime he wears his grappling watch (entry above). So headcannon time: the reason Jigen wears a similar watch is because they're actually the same watch - Lupin gave it to him after he finished assembling his custom.

Found something that looks a bit similar. Definitely not the same watch, but maybe an inspiration.

Tissot Visodate Camping

There's a bunch of variations of this watch over the years, each one looking more or less like Zenigata's. IMO this is the closest looking one, and there is some resemblance.

Ok I scoured https://chalpurnia.tumblr.com/ some more and found some more stuff:

Part 2:

Episode 82: Jigen's Rolex Submariner Date (again)
82.jpg
I'm pretty sure the other cap of Jigen wearing a sub is from another episode, but I'm not gonna check rn

Episode 109: Zenigata very generic watch:
109.jpg
Maybe a Tissot again? Not enough detail one way or another

Episode 113: Lupin's way too detailed digital watch
113.jpg
I refuse to believe this isn't a real watch. Currently looking into it. If anybody has any idea please add on.

That last digital one looks a bit like this Seiko one in this ad so maybe search some Seiko's from the 80s and we'll get lucky?
