Check out this trailer for Lupin the IIIRD: The Movie - The Immortal Bloodline, coming to North America soon! The animated feature will release in theaters for three nights only in Japanese with English subtitles and English-dubbed January 4–6, 2026.

Finally we have a US date! January 4-6 2026 GKids is doing a limited event for the movie! Looks like there will be a sub and a dub release! So excited! I will have to see what theater is closest to me and I definitely want to try to see both the sub and the dub if I can.

I'm just so happy that there's screenings in a lot more places than usual! I hope this means more in the future!

It's an early Christmas miracle!!! Kinda disappointed it's getting such a narrow release window, but hey, the US is still technically getting one more day of screenings than Scotland - and this means we're one step closer to a Japanese BluRay release 👀 I'm also kinda surprised by the announcement of a dub before any US licensers have even touched Zenigata and the Two Lupins... I wonder who'll be in it? On Bluesky our own Tsushi speculated that GKIDS might bring back the Epcar cast, and no disrespect to Tony and co. but I really hope they get the regular Koike cast: Keith, Dan and Cristina may not be my favourite English versions of the Lupin gang, nor is Richard my favourite Zenigata, but they did a great job of making the characters their own (much like Koike himself did) and they really deserve this victory lap. ...at least Goemon will be the same either way :loop_laugh:

Well looks like you get your wish! I will take the L on my prediction lol I don't mind the alt cast, and hopefully we get any release of Two Lupins. Still waiting on a release of Jigen and VS Cat's Eye though so I don't feel confident... but fingers and toes are crossed!

I got my tickets to see the sub and dub in Michigan. I know my own taste and I don't have my hopes in the clouds but I think I'll have fun seeing some Luoin fans at the showing. I have some stickers to give people :loop_lup:

I sure did and they sound great in the trailer!!! I'm jealous of anyone who'll get to hear their voices coming out of a cinema speaker 🤩 Don't worry, it's not unreasonable to guess GKIDS would just reuse the cast they know from The First. I agree, it'd be nice if the Amazon movies could get similar treatment... including Zenigata and the Two Lupins; it'd be a shame if that was the only Koike Lupin movie without an English dub (also, I really really hope both movies get Spanish dubs, since the Latin American cast have mentioned dubs of the original Koike trilogy have at least been greenlit 👀)

AAAAAA I hope you have a great time next month, I hope everyone going to see it does!!! It's a good idea to manage your expectations: the movie isn't perfect even if you do like Koike Lupin, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It's the kind of movie you might have mixed feelings about at first but come to appreciate more the longer it stews in your brain, and I prefer that over a movie you enjoy in the moment but start to nitpick as soon as you leave the cinema... and above all the EXPERIENCE of seeing it with other Lupin fans is what counts, you're absolutely right!!! :lupdance:

i just bought tickets to a showing about 3 hours away from me! i'm really excited to see it and hopefully meet some other lupin fans! coincidentally my partner and i are getting legally married the day before, so it will be like a mini honeymoon :loop_laugh:
