CALLING ALL SQUID (AND OCTO) KIDS!! I know a couple of other members play Splatoon, but I'd love to see who all else does!
Maybe we could organize some splatfest teams in the future with silly coordinated splashtags (if we're willing to wait a month to be able to change names back anyway)

ANYWAY what are y'all's favorite weapons? Gear kits? Modes to play? Idols/bands/songs?
Personally I'm a weenie when it comes to competitive, but I like tower and splatzones pretty ok. I main various dualies most of the time but dapples are my fav bc of the tacticooler and such.

Been a dirty N-ZAP main since the first game; I've experimented a bit with 3, but the tacticooler really does keep you coming back, lol. I don't really play ranked though, too anxiety inducing for me. I am but a simple turf war purist

I played competitively in Splatoon 1, I went to a LAN in Chicago at the time actually! I played 2 much less seriously and just love Salmon Run a lot lol and am now playing 3.

When I’m not playing Salmon Run, I mostly play with Jr with multiple sub ink savers so really I’m a Splat Bomb main. I just got into X but haven’t done much in it yet. For modes like Rainmaker and Clams where Jr really doesn’t work, I’m honing some other weapons, in the past I’ve used Luna or Splash? But I haven’t really settled on a kit I like on either one that’s in 3.

I've been CRAZY about these games since the first one. I've hopped weapons a lot but flingza is what I come back to the most. I also play the wiper and inkbrush. I play a bit of ranked, mostly zones and tower control. I'm trying to get into rainmaker and clam blitz just confuses me lol. I'm barely hanging onto my S rank. I'll add every1 when I can.

And for anyone looking for great info to become a better player I HIGHLY recommend thatsrb2dude videos on YouTube. He’s an incredible player and he’s started putting out good guides for 3! Including explaining all the modes and stuff like that!

I actually bought Splat1 with the intent of getting a WiiU, but by the time I could excuse buying one the Switch was on the horizon LMAO so the box just sits on my shelf looking pretty.

Love love love Splatoon, I played the first one on my wii u and did competitive for a while hjfldghjlkfg. Now I basically only play Salmon Run and Splatfest/Big Run but I still do love the game and the music.

I love playing the Tentamissles but for a real weapon .52 is always solid. Rainmaker and TC are the most fun ranked modes imo, Zones is fun but it can be really annoying if your team is just outpainted, I dont even acknowledge Clam Blitz I fear it. Oh and Pearl and Marina are still my fav idols, Deep Cut is cool tho! I really like the story mode music for 3 and octo expansion

Been a fan of the series since the Wii U days but my love for it came back with a vengeance when 3 dropped. My favorite weapon is a tie between the Aerospray MG and the Dualie Squelchers. I love playing on both Turf War and Salmon Run. I wanna get into ranked more but it lowkey feels like I'm cursed to lose any ranked match I'm in. I love all the idols but I'm ride or die with Off the Hook.
