Need advice on my first cosplay

I am cosplaying to match a friends special needs kid whose bullied how do I put on a convincing character? my plan is to get some good photo ops so she can have bragging rights and increase her status, I am good with wearing costumes and make up but struggle with staying character, please answer I only have like a month to get it right so I am frantically scrambling. this is my first real cosplay outside of the house. and I want to make it special.

Gonna move this into off topic since it's not a Lupin cosplay, but I would say my best advice is to just choose a few poses that suit the character for photos, you don't need to be in character all the time, just getting a nice pose and expression that you've practiced can make photo's come out really good.
