So was been browsing MFC and adding some stuff here and there to my collection page, and I’ve come to notice the Lupin categories are woefully incomplete when it comes to vintage goods. Lots of missing stuff, LOTS of draft pages.

I know I’m not the only collector on the forum, perhaps we could get a little group here adding and updating pages to get things a little more complete? Anyone else here an MFC user who would want in on this?

I know it would be nigh impossible to get EVERYTHING on there, but I certainly think we could do better than what’s there already.

I'm all new to the collector thing, so I might have to ask.. What is MFC and how does it work?
Also in terms of Lupin merchandise I follow a great Italian account on Instagram that got an impossibly HUUUGE Lupin collection! He's a great reference in terms of what official Lupin merch exists :kar_jigen:

I just did a quick google because I have never heard of MyFigureCollection before and it seems to be a site that has a database of merchandise from different anime, games so on and so forth and you can add specific pieces from this database to your account as a way to digitally display your collection at home? At least as far as I understand from a quick look :p

@Tintalle got the gist of it! MFC is a huge user-edited database of figures and goods from Japan. On one side there's the database itself with entries for franchises > characters > their relevant merch, and on the other side users can add items from the database to their own lists to virtually display and track their collections. It's a super nifty resource and I think a good repository of keeping up with fandom goods. They even accept doujinshi and such, too!

You can create new pages for items that aren't yet in the database, and edit other item pages to keep them accurate, kinda wiki-style. For instance, here's the top-level Lupin III page (for the TV series anyway, Castle of Cagliostro has its own page)

OWWW I see! That's so practical, a shame I had never heard of it before!
Thank you so much for the explanations :D
