I personally love the idea of looking for and finding lost media, and Lupin being such a long-running series is bound to have some lost media, and as far as I'm aware there are three major items of note: something probably completely lost, something that we might be able to find, and something that probably never existed.

Debunked Lost Media
First up there's the Geneon dubbed episodes 80 - 100 of Part II. These are probably long gone, and even if they aren't, they are probably in some company's archive, what company, I dunno, Geneon went out of business almost 20 years ago so these voice lines are either completely lost to time or in so much legal red tape that they might as well be lost to time.
EDIT: Apparently, like in the Goemon Cagliostro rumour, this supposed lost dub came from a clerical error in Richard Epcar's resume. The original dub producer, Ken Duer, has confirmed they only 79 episodes were ever produced.

Then there's "The Viper" a supposed dub of Part I from 1972. This was some random claim on the lostmediawiki forums, the OP only gave two pieces of evidence to back up their claim, and both turned out to be dead-ends. So I think this isn't really lost media I think this is a myth.
Here's a video by LSuperSonicQ about this supposed dub

Yet to be Found Lost Media
And here's the real reason I wanted to make this post, the one piece of Lupin media I'm sure exists in some capacity as we have multiple references to its existence. I'm sure many of you are aware of the Lupin Takarazuka musical, but what I know a lot of you don't know is that there is another Lupin musical that predates it by 17 years. The 30th Anniversary Musical I'm Lupin! アイムル ルパン三世 also known as Anime Musical: Love Dream Lupin ア二メカル 愛・夢・ルパン. Notably, Dragon Ball Z theme singer Hironobu Kageyama played Goemon Ishikawa in this musical. The musical was performed by Troupe Something on November 4th, 1998 through November 8th, 1998 at the Sunshine Theatre in the Sunshine City building in East Ikebukuro in the Toshima ward in Tokyo. The soundtrack to the musical was released on CD on November 21st, 1998.
At some point in time, a recording of one of the performances aired on the Japanese Children's TV Station, Kids Station キッズステーション. So there is the slight possibility that a recording of it still is floating around somewhere, whether that be somewhere randomly on the internet or on some random Japanese VHS recording, who knows? But it is the one confirmed piece of Lupin media that we know exists that has not had an official release in almost 25 years.
So this is a call to action to see if anyone can help me find a recording of this musical, even just a snippet of a recording would be helpful as it would give definitive proof it exists.

And if there's anything I missed, please tell me and I'll add it to this post. [I'll get to this in a minute to add the other things mentioned below]

A couple more Lupin lost medias that i would like to add:
Pepsi commercial featuring lupin and the gang: NTV program that featured the original voice actors in costume while playing instruments underwater (god i want this one to be found):
The remaining chapters in the Lupin VIII manga that weren't compiled into a volume and are really hard to find nowdays (dunno if this really counts as "lost media")
The remaining lines that Yasuo Yamada recorded for Nostradamus before passing away (He maybe recorded more lines than the ones used in the original trailer)
Anything related to the last Lupin III Millenium comic that was announced and never released: "Fujiko o Margot ?", the only thing know about this last issue is the preview cover art and the ISBN number( although i did search the ISBN number and found that it lists Andrea Baricordi in the credits, same guy who wrote some previous Millenium comics).

Brazillian dub of Part 1: Part 1 was dubbed and aired in the now defunct tv channel called Locomotion between 1997-2002. (The dub also aired again on Animax Portugal during 2007-2011).Currently only 18 episodes of the dub are archived nowdays, episodes 8, 16-18 and 23 are currently lost. Although there is a group of fans that are currently trying to find these episodes.

God, the picture of actors is so chaotic, Goro Naya is playing the trumpet underwater while Masuyama and Yamada are completely drenched. I love it, it's a crime we haven't found this already. Also it says in the og Tweet that Yuji Ohno is hitting somebody with a Piko hammer off camera:loop_laugh:

Here's a correction: episodes 80-104 weren't dubbed, the listing that mentioned episode 104 in Epcar's resume was a mistake

Wow okay, mystery solved then, geez that's the second time I've been confused by Richard's resume lol.

I'll edit the original post in a second
Also that Lupin in the Pepsi truck is adorable, reminds me of those Lupin Coca-Cola promotional figures I've seen around a lot on Yahoo Auctions.

I know we have some of it, but would we count the Lupin VIII anime production stuff? I know it was only bits and pieces got done before the show was canned, but I would still love to see any additional stuff that can be pulled together, even storyboards, production cels, miscellaneous voice and music tracks etc.

I would say that's more preproduction than lost media, but I will include it in the post for completeness' sake.

Another thing i wish would be found is all of the original colored pages of the manga. Originally some pages were in color, but in later reprints they were replaced by black and white.
Such a shame too because the colors were great and honestly the new ones ruined some scenes, like this one where now you can barely see Goemon and the background

oh gosh, that's not a good conversion. It reminds me of how newer version of the Batman Comic, The Killing Joke, has been redone with more muted colors while the original was very vibrant, and fans did not like that.

This isn't really lost media in a traditional sense, but really hoping that TSM would release a High Quality version, anti Alias version of the Intro to Lupin III The Master File:
(This is the best quality I could find)
I've already started a thread on this software, which I will add to if as I find more info, but basically, this was a database released for the Sega Saturn in 1996 and according to magazine articles I found on Segaretro.org, the intro is confirmed to be original to this project. I haven't found who animated it yet, but I do know that it's at least the same character designer used for Dragon of Doom, Masatomo Sudo (須藤 昌朋) because Fujiko is wearing a similar outfit to the one she wears at the end of Dragon of Doom. He's most famous for working on Detective Conan stuff, as well as a few Lupin specials.

Now I'm not sure how this process worked in 90s with converting animation like this, cause when I was looking over magazine scans and comparing it to the final product, I thought at first it was digipaint (The Chronicles intro does seem like Digipaint) , but the back of the case, you can see screenshots of the intro animation, which totally looks like cel animation.
masuta-fa023.jpg

This could be a pipe dream, cause this is such obscure Lupin Media and I don't even know if TSM or anybody else has the any cels left. I tried googling about this and there's really no info about this. I couldn't even find character model sheets from the other Lupin 90s media Masatomo Sudo worked on.
But honestly, it doesn't need to be HD, I just want something similar to the Sonic CD releases.

Kinda interesting thing about the Viper, but LSuperSonicQ's video did leave a bit of a hanging thread with the 2006 Anime Encyclopedia. It was the only one out of the three that wasn't up on archive.org, so he couldn't fully verify that the dub wasn't mentioned in it. Well my university actually did have it at the library, so I went and checked, and no surprise there wasn't any mention of the dub. Not really worth that much note, but I'd thought I'd mention it if it bothered anyone else like it did me lol.

Wow so much lost media, more than I expected, and so many interesting developments from all of you!
I still need to figure out how to rework the main post to include all of these, but I will make sure everything is added and all of you are credited for bringing these. I'll try and update the main post here soon.

Update on the Master File intro: I've been researching this animation and related Masatomo Sudo Lupin projects just for fun and I maybe have found evidence of Lost Media?
index.php

I was googling Lupin cels and I just stumble across this cel, which I don't think is from anything released. It seemed to be from an auction page originally, but sadly, I can't find the original page. I tried google image search, but that only lead to redirected sites with no info. This cel doesn't show up in the Master File intro. It could be from Dragon of Doom maybe? Since I've only skimmed through it, but while Fujiko's outfit in that is similar, it has different colors.

So if it's not from Dragon of Doom, that means that there is a strong possibility that the Master File has unused animation that is lost. If so, that's kinda wild.

I did a little reverse google searching too, and I found that it was in a auction with a cel that is definitely from the Master File intro, and since it uses her outfit design I'm inclined to say it is from the Master File animation production. Link to archived auction

This is the other cel that was in that auction

Do we know if the Master File had any other animations in it?

Woah, that's really cool! I haven't seen that cel before, I guess cause if I click on that link, it just leads me to a 403 Forbidden page (maybe it's my ip adress?).
I'm not sure if there were anymore original animation for Master File. The ads in the magazines that are scanned in SegaRetro only mention the opening, and I'd figure in an ad you'd mention if there was more orginal animation. There are a bunch of videos you can find online that showcase the game, but they aren't really thorough. I might look at some of the gameplay videos some more to find out.
Edit: I've confused aucfree dot com with aucfan dot com

The games does have a "cels" option in the gallery, and some are uncropped cels from the intro! Here's a comparison:
Btw could anyone here emulate the game and do a full playthrough showcasing everything ?, navigating around the menus would be easy considering the entire game is in english

Another thing I'd like to bring up is a manga chapter called "Welcome to Adultland"
Apparently it was published as a special chapter in Futabasha's Action Deluxe No.2 magazine in July 31, 1979 and uses the name "Super Action Shin Lupin III" instead of "Shin Lupin III"

There's barely any scans of it online (only the a couple pages exist) and it only seemed to have gotten collected into an actual volume chapter in Power Comics, Italian Manga, and Action Comics...

My friend said that the plot is apparently about this guy who's the king of amusement parks wants to roboticize Lupin and his gang for his plan to build an "adult land"

Yeah I can easily emulate Master File if needed for people, gimme like a day to get home to my PC to do so. I don't think theres anything HD on youtube as far as I know
