Lupin in Weekly Manga Action (Actually Lupin The Third Official Magazine)

I'm really intrigued by these comics that were published in 2002 - 2003 editions of Weekly Manga Action:

Especially the one where they claim to be celebrating together, but it's all ominous:

The only parts of these magazines I can find are cover scans, and they don't even match the dates that are named on the blog. Anybody know anything at all about these?

ohh this fucks so hard. wish I could envision something like this in my head

So i was looking through some scans of the Official Magazine looking for some interviews with Monkey Punch and i actually found even more of these comics, fully scanned! Here's all the ones i've managed to find:

This one where Lupin and Jigen escape from a skyscraper (Seems to end in a cliffhanger?) (2001)

4-Koma gag manga starring Fujiko (2001)

"Roundabout", this one focuses on Goemon.

This time Goemon's sad cuz zantetsuken just doesn't wanna cut anything today. (2009) (I can't read japanese but i can tell this one is pretty funny.)

In this one, both Goemon and Fujiko team up.

Considering that the Official Magazine ran for like almost 20 years, i wonder how many of these were made.

Thanks! Literally there must be so many different art styles and interpretations lost to time out there. I'm so haunted.

Wow, what a lot of cool archival material! I've never run into this "official magazine", I wonder what was in it? Was it just comics or something else?

Right there with you about all the art styles and interpretations. I was just thinking that "man, if there's anyone in the world that can make Jigen's guns cool af, it's the Japanese manga scene and I would pay to see the Lupin franchise get a Gunsmith Cats-esque rendition"
