I really just wanted to share the existence of it, because something about it just amuses me to no end, and I know a lot of people don't know about it.
In 1998, a developer named Daiki released a fully voiced motion comic of 4 chapters from Shin Lupin III [World's Most Wanted], it released for 2,415 yen (which is equivalent to 32 USD today adjusted for inflation), on the Playstation (and also maybe PC I think?).

It is such a bizarre time capsule of that time, weird funky little slideshow animations that look like they were made in Windows Movie Maker or something, funky gradient colours, it's all so charming.

But one of the coolest and strangest things about this release, is that, not only is it fully voiced in Japanese [With strangely enough, not the normal anime voice cast, even after the Fuma Conspiracy fiasco], there are actually hidden options to have both the text, and voices in English. That's right, this strange little Japan-only release is fully translated in English with a full English voice cast! In 1998! If you want to try this out in-game, then you'll need to select a chapter, hit start, scroll down four times to get to the options, then scroll down another four times to set the text (and voices if you want) into English.
Don't wanna bother hunting down a copy or fiddling with emulation? Well don't worry, if you want to watch this, someone uploaded this in both Japanese and English to Youtube.

Go ahead and check this out, it's such a cool little part of Lupin's history

Wow that's a strange thing to exist. Really surprised that it has an english dub, too. English Lupin sounds good, though. Can't say the same for everyone else. The way they pronounce Jigen, Goemon and Fugiko is really funny

Oh, sorry if this is a bump, but I just remembered a fun fact
This is the only time Melon Cop was ever voice-acted, so it's significant for that reason too!

Apparently the wiki saids that Monkey Punch had personally chosen these voice actors, so maybe that's the reason why they're all different? I have my doubts on whether the wiki is telling the truth though.

But anyways love the game, it changed my life, cured my depression, revived my grandma, 10/10 gameplay very innovative for its time, i recommend everyone to play it
