What is the Lupin III Manga Guide?

The Lupin III Manga Guide is a Google Doc created to give fans new to Monkey Punch's manga an easier reading experience.

It contains:

  • Resources to read the manga, including Mangadex hyperlinks to every single chapter listed in the guide.
  • Content ratings for every chapter indicating how much sexual and violent content the chaper contains.
  • Synopses for every (available) chapter giving you the basic premise of each chapter, but avoiding any spoilers or important scenes.
  • Reviews of manga from other fans.
  • Many more!
My goal for making this guide is to have more people read the manga, so I would love it if this ends up helping you in any way!

This was a huge and intense labor of love and I wouldn't have been able to do it without help from a lot of great people (who are credited in the document!) If anything, please check it out to look at the years of work done by us. If you've already read the manga, feel free to leave a review for a manga series to be featured in the document.

Really cool that you work so hard on this! I hope more people get around to seeing MP's art and enjoy more Lupin in a new way.

Wow, incredible news—congrats on finishing the Lupin III manga guide! 🎉 Having such a detailed roadmap makes diving into Monkey Punch’s original works so much more fun and accessible.

As a longtime fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I couldn’t help but notice some parallel vibes between the Lupin crew and our favorite JJK characters:

  • Lupin III has that same charismatic, chaotic energy as Yuji Itadori—always diving headfirst into trouble, but somehow coming out ahead.
  • Jigen, with his flawless precision and quiet professionalism, totally reminds me of Gojo Satoru in his reserved moments—lethal when needed, but mostly laid-back.
  • Fujiko Mine—all charm, misdirection, and unpredictability—feels like a dark twist on Nobara Kugisaki’s mix of confidence and strategy.
  • And then there’s Zenigata: the eternal foil to Lupin, always on the chase, never quite winning—kind of like the endless conflict between Megumi Fushiguro and his inner doubts, always pursuing justice without the flashy glory.

It’s fascinating how two totally different series—one about a master thief and the other about jujutsu sorcery—can resonate in surprising character dynamics.

Thanks again for the guide—it’s going to be epic to explore all those manga stories in proper order. Here’s hoping for a Part 3 or spin-off character guide next!
