Lupin III cosplay - Paris

You can find my shootings in the attached album (I already did cosplay shyly but with Lupin I felt more daring to approach photographers)
I'm planning to do other spring 2026 shoots (near Montmartre? the Louvre? the Trocadero?) and I might be accompanied.
If you have any ideas for locations and staging in Paris, I'm all ears! Wish me luck, I'm entering a cosplay contest in early November! (I'll share the performance here)

Funfact : I met a cosplayer Zenigata shortly before the Harajuku festival (September 2025) and we did some photoshoots together.
As Zenigata was the organizer of the event's cosplay parade, we did a public performance! We kept in touch and we can't wait to do another number at the next editions...
and to film them because the person who filmed us this year had a problem during the recording, we're disgusted ! And Maybe we wish to make shootings on spring 2026 !

Amazing cosplay - the costume itself is great of course, but the way you emote and pose like Lupin is my favourite part!!! Good luck at the contest :loop_thumb:

Thank you ! I dont know because i know i am strange and with the time i discover "be ridiculous or strange dont Kill me", or my love for shorts and ties 🥰 I m fine with this polyvalent caracter, he can live many different situation and that s so fun !

Maybe I'm inspired by his boldness, but in everyday life, I recently noticed that wearing just the jacket makes me a little braver. ^^

I recently decided to have a "visual identity" as a writer, so I wear Lupin's green jacket and yellow tie with a sweater. 🤭 I can't say if it helps because I feel less ridiculous when I seem too spontaneous! So, I feel comfortable even when I'm striking unnatural poses. (But i have a other green jacket and other yellow tie for next cosplay, the others are to big !)

Of course, it's important to get along with your cosplay partner, to talk about things you can and can't tolerate beforehand. It was our first meeting, and everything went well. He was even allowed to grab my wrist, even though I hate that because we'd thought about several possibilities. Since it was an event for the general public, and we're more comfortable with a cartoonish atmosphere, we like to exaggerate our expressions.

It's nice to be able to fully trust your cosplay partners and photographers (here Zenigata had both roles XD) to be more natural and fulfilled. And to forget about people who might look at us strangely.

During my first visit to the Paris Games Week (biggest video games 's french convention) , i have travel on other planets and take a "souvenir"

And I found an information board about thieves, put together by Zenigata, but my name wasn't on it. Strange... Had he already forgotten me?

Thanks for your feedback! Wherever I can, I'll make this villain pay :D I love this "sandbox" offered by this character, sometimes kind, sometimes funny, sometimes Machiavellian. I saw a horror-themed set; if I'd known beforehand, I would have brought a mask (like a Lupin costume) and pretended to be a terrifying Lupin, stealing his victims' faces (muahaha!).

Or forcing Jigen to finally deal with his dental problems in a bloody hospital setting XD But I need a partner for that.

I already have two locations/contexts planned for spring 2026: in front of the "I love you" wall near Montmartre (I'll scout out other spots), probably again with Zenigata <3, and printing fake paintings that I'll steal in front of the Louivre (we had the idea before the robbery! and it's still too recent for us to stage it ^^')

An impromptu photoshoot in under an hour, while the snow was still falling. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take advantage of the scenery while it was still pristine. If it snows again this Saturday, I might have other ideas for locations, but I'm not sure my impromptu photographer will follow me (he was already embarrassed about us being seen in front of the neighbors).

But I had to think about the poses in record time because of a few constraints: the length of my lunch break, the thickness of my summer cosplay, the possibility of neighbors or our cat wandering into the frame at any moment, and my sweetheart's patience (who, moreover, isn't used to taking photos). How did we manage?

I admit I wrapped the gifts rather hastily, and it's obvious in one of the photos! But I love the pose so much that I didn't want to ruin it.
