この世に俺が二人いたとは初耳だ。

Zenigata
どうやらこの国はお前を始末したがっているようだな。

お互い命日にならないことを祈りましょ。

裏にいるのはどんな大物だってんだ？

何処の誰かは存ぜぬが、挨拶しておく必要があるな。

何の価値もない…小さな命一つ守れない正義など。

STORY


銭形警部はロビエト連邦の空港で爆破テロに遭遇し、犯人の顔がルパン三世だったことに驚く。


すぐに見失うが駅で別の“ルパン”を発見し列車内でルパンを拘束するも、次元大介の助けで脱走を許してしまう。


一方、峰不ニ子はサーカス団に潜入し、空中ブランコの乗り手として最高指導者ブレーリンの寵愛を受けていた。


軍縮条約パレードを目前に控え、国家保安委員会のカラシコフはルパンをテロ実行犯かつアルカ合衆国のスパイと断定し追跡するが、銭形は疑念を抱いていた。


そして、首都で国家保安委員会に追い詰められたルパンの前に立ちはだかったのは、彼の無実を信じる銭形だったー


だが、その瞬間、新たな爆破が銭形を襲う…・....

Got so curious I watched it without subs. Lupin and Zenigata sit down and talk A LOT. Not a single clue what they were saying. But it was a lot.

I'm surprised that GKIDS didn't distribute both of them here (or at least one of them). I wonder if TMS didn't want to do it or no international company wanted to buy the license or something.

I dunno, usually we don't get simultaneous releases for movies, that's more often something that's common for anime now. I expect an announcement a little later on an official release, so I think it will happen, just slowly.

this fandom works fast as hell, especially when it comes to distributing ways to watch and english/etc. subs. i have faith, and believe me when i say there's already some out there!! but again, public forum (pls have mercy tms). as of now, discord/other more private lupin circles will be your best bet if you're desperate for eng subs sooner rather than later-- its just a matter of finding them haha. its 100% worth it to find as well, the political intrigue is crazyyy and unfortunately completely lost w/o subs

i'm curious as well. maybe they assumed there wouldn't be as much attention compared to the live action jigen movie? which i can't blame them for assuming, jigen has by far the most draw, hands-down, and zeni... as much as i love the guy... not as much lol. i have a hunch the finale totally-not-mamo film will have far better intital international distribution.

But seriously, GKIDS has a panel at Anime Expo on July 6th - if they're gonna announce something Lupin-related, it'd make sense timing-wise for them to do it then! We just gotta be patient and keep our eyes on Lupin Central (I've found their Bluesky is a good way to keep up with little bite-sized pieces of news) 👀
