So I always have a hard time making tier list cause in some cases, cause it can feel like I'm ranking stuff lower then their actual merit. Like I just listened to New Wuthering Heights for the first time, and it's not bad, it mostly felt like I was listening to Revolutionary Girl Utena bgm while somebody was talking. I'm sure if I watched the series, I would grow more fond of it.

I made my own including the Italian themes, plus U Belong to Me and Zenigata Keibu's theme.

There are some people here who will have me hanged for putting the Italian rap above Part 1's theme, and to them, I say, neener neener.

Where's the boy, Edgar de la Cambriole?:loop_angry:/jk
Nah, you're right, part 1's op is strange, I found myself skipping it when watching part 1. I like the 2005 vers better on Charlie Kosei's case they really lean into the western influence and there's also techno beat in the second half.
Also, did not know part 5 had an Italian op, I though Italy stopped making their own og intro songs to anime. It doesn't fit the series, but I'd vote for it in Eurovision lol

I'll be honest, if Sexy Adventure wasn't such a fucking bop, TWCFM would've topped it as an opening. New Wuthering Heights is a haunting opening and sets up the tone perfectly and the visual are amazing but like... SEXY ADVENTURE! Even then, as an opening it's pretty fucking great and I'll be honest very ambitious for the 80s, it's a very dynamic and stylish opening and I love it because its like the Mob 100 OPS... you know the animators loved their medium and the opening is a way of showing it.

and I don't like the Part 5 theme but I love its animation.

lol you're right, I forgot that and the German MTV opening. :loop_laugh:
I think Edgar would be at the bottom behind Lupin Waltz, and the German MTV one behind New Wurthering Heights. And I say bottom, but really I like every theme to Lupin, just there's some I wouldn't really choose to listen to lol.

I would also agree with that. But also maybe it’s because I first got into Lupin the 3rd through part 6 and I’m a big guitar fan. I do also think that the part 6 theme is underrated
