How did you get into Lupin? Damn... it feels like a train wreck, but my little 8 y/o self was so obsessed with Dance Dance Revolution (Extra Mix/Solo 2000) for the PS1, and there was a remix of the theme song I really liked. As a weeboo later, yeah, I did hear about Lupin enough to recognize the main character...even I purchased a couple of movies (Cagliostro and Mamo’s one) in a local music/DVD store (bless your soul, MixUp!)...too bad I only watched the first and sorta lost interest, again only recognizing the characters like, “Ah, yeah, it is a very old series,” “Oh wait, got a new season?? Fine, I guess—doesn't watch it.
Until the past year, I dared to touch the series, and...my god, why did no one tell me it had such a funny localization ?”Why are you calling a samurai as...RAMÓN?! What a dumb name for him.... *3 Doritos later* “And Since When Did I Acquire All These Portraits Of Goemon Ishikawa XIII!?”...and eventually I dragged my gf on this!
If you happened to see her introduction here, yeah, I can confirm I'm also into dubbing, so...the dubbing process in Lupin is such a train wreck as my story (Series 1 dubbed in L.A. with the funny names, the movies/specials made in the 90s having such a well-done Mexican dub, in my opinion, and Series 6 and recent products dubbed in Argentina...about Series 2&3 only getting a release in Spain), so...I’m taking my time in consuming the series.

As you can see, yeah, also my watching order is a train wreck; eventually I will consume everything... but I’m more into characters than franchises themselves, so I feel the urge to share my appreciation for Goemon (or as I nickname him... Ramoncito <3) with others so for avoiding everyone on FB getting tired of me babbling about my recent husbando and ship (Fujigoe FTW)... yeah, my gf found this forum and suggested in make an account! Looking forward to meeting lovely people on this journey!
What do you like to do in your free time? I wouldn’t call it a “hobby” either because it is extra income besides my “formal” job, but I’m also a con artist; designing merch is so fun! ...I started to make some Lupin art that I might eventually post in a thread (along with nsfw pieces; not the best in the matter, but, again, this samurai really hooked me!). Anyway, I love doing art and crafts in general.
Also, I like to play video games, but I’m not the best , reading visual novels...and I like plushie collecting. Also gush about my favorite media, characters, and OTPs! It brings me a lot of joy!

-Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: It’s my special interest and my favorite piece of media ever. I thank Hirohiko Araki because his manga changed my life. (Diamond is Unbreakable and Steel Ball Run are my personal favorites! But I’m caught up with the manga! and taught me that, yeah, you have to start with part 1 if you want to witness a meaningful journey!
-Touhou Project: My favorite video game—ever—and is what made me familiar with a franchise having several media to consume! (Also, I share a birthday with ZUN XD.)
-When They Cry series: Mostly Umineko, a beautiful visual novel that everyone should read at least once; Higurashi and Ciconia are great! Also, I make tons of merch and art about it!
-Futurama: Baby’s first fandom and...another story that if this is a train wreck, this case is an earthquake!!! But if you’re a Zapp Brannigan enjoyer, then I like you already!
Also I do like American Dad!, Urusei Yatsura, Osomatsu-san, Smiling Friends, Pokémon, Steven Universe, the SMT/Persona series, and The Amazing Digital Circus.

- Part 2 (I’m on episode 50 and something, but I tend to skip episodes and see them in random order. Oops, it's going to take me a while.
- Part 3 (I watched it because it got sold to me as “the worst series, and... it turned out to be my favorite series, actually on episode 17, and... I will babble about how much I adore it later!)
Movies/Specials:
- Castle of Cagliostro (I’m sorry for being such a Studio Ghibli hater, but... man, Miyazaki working on Lupin was definitely a “yes yes,” I need to rewatch it sometime).
- Babylon no Ougon Densetsu (Even if it has a pink-jacketed Lupin, it's probably my least fave movie; I’m sorry).
- The Fuma Conspiracy (Another Ghibli thing... it’s alright).
- Goodbye, Lady Liberty (it’s alright too).
- Dragon of Doom (My absolute favorite, absolute cinema!).
- Tokyo Crisis (Neither am I a fan of this one; I’m sorry!).
- Lupin III vs. Meitantei Conan: The Movie (Not a huge Conan fan, but... I’m amazed I enjoyed it lots!)
- Lupin III vs. Cat's Eye (SHAKING HANDS MEME BECAUSE BOTH THEME SONGS HAVE BEEN ON DDR OMG)
