How did you get into Lupin? Hmm, how should I put this...? Oh right! I started getting into the Lupin series ever since I was in high school, the 10th grade the say the least. At that time, I didn't think I was going to be as interested in it. Boy did I come to regret that decision later. From there I started watching the dub of Part 2 and I remembered how hilarious it was to watch. It was also around the time when I started listening to Yuji Ohno's soundtrack for most of the Lupin series and it was phenomenal. It reignited my love for jazz music, which has been long gone ever since I listened to Frank Sinatra on the car radio. Strangely enough, I did remember seeing Inspector Gadget once when I was little kid. Which was originally going to be Lupin the 8th at some point? (So maybe I was exposed to Lupin at an early age and I just didn't realize it yet. Oh well :(

The series also help fostered my curiosity for Arsene Lupin as a whole as I started collecting the novel and even watched Netflix series. It safe to say that without this series, I wouldn't likely know the legacy of the French gentlemen thief.

What do you like to do in your free time? Drawing, playing video games, listening to music, cooking (sometimes), writing, I'm also a bit of a mythology junkie and I like learning about myths from different cultures including Japanese and Greek mythology.

Do you have any pets? Not currently. One of my pets died a long time, I'm sorry if this makes you sad.

Any Other Fandoms? Well I can't say I'm part of a fandom specifically. I mean, I just like whatever peaks my interest honestly. But here's a list of franchises that I like!

Sonic The Hedgehog

Undertale/Deltarune

Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku

Devil May Cry

Hanna Barbera specifically Yogi Bear or Top Cat

MOTHER/Earthbound

Dragon Ball
(specifically the original manga from 1984, even the anime from 1986)

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

It's incredible how Lupin has a way of lurking in the background for years and then sneaking up on you when you least expect it (very fitting for the character :loop_laugh: ) I'm glad you're enjoying it now that you know it - welcome to the forum :loop_lup:

A fellow mythology buff! Well calling myself a buff might be a bit presumptuous but I did read all the Rick Riordan books (if that counts) and I read the Iliad and Odyssey which are one of the rare times that the sequel is that much better. Anyway's what did you think of the books and how do they measure up to the anime? I personally love seeing the little references.

Ah! So it was Lupin all along! That's sly, sly wolf lol! But yes, ever since I've been catching up with the manga like the original or Shin Lupin. Even the movies like The First, I can say that even though it is a rabbit hole, I'm happy that I'm enjoying it.

Welcome to the forum! I think it's funny but totally understandable that there's so much overlap for Lupin fans into the Yakuza series. Both an excellent mix of drama, comedy, and over the top action!

Oh really?! So I'm not the only Lupin fan who likes Yakuza? That's cool. I started getting into the series ever since I played Zero and ever since then I started enjoying it, the characters, the story, and everything in between.

Also thanks!
