For all Canadian Lupin fans, the Immortal Bloodline will also be showing here in Canada too! But...

It doesn't say specifically where they're going to show the movie nor are the tickets itself is not available yet but I'm glad there's a confirmation that the movie will at least play here in Canada ❤️

Well, I should be good because I'm in TO - I'd rather see it with subs but I'll go out to see the dubbed version because it's Lupin in the theatres damnit.

Well Toronto isn't a short drive but if it was for a Lupin meetup I'm not saying I wouldn't consider it... Though this time of year is the absolute pits for traveling in north America, do they have to release when there's so much snow to deal with :loop_sad:

Tsushi, I would 100% organize this if you were to come up to visit!!

English dub

Just the one place is... difficult to say the least. It's about an hour each way for me by transit but that IS doable. But if any of you live out west or east I imagine this is gonna be hard. This is the sort of thing I've usually skipped before, but... it's Lupin... I could probably manage the 7pm Friday show although that's gotta mean rush hour transit, ughhh

I messaged Jey and so far it looks like I have an option only 2 hours away so I'll probably be trying to do that one. I'm sad to have to reconsider but looking at the climate in the US rn makes me feel worried about making the trip back and forth (not because of the Canadian side, I think most of you understand what I mean:kar_goe: )

It's a bit far but I'd be willing to try for the 7pm show! 10pm is just too late for me haha

I thought there was absolutely no way they were going to show the movie in one theatre for the ENTIRE country. But I looked into it and I have little hope that they'll show in different theatres in the area. Apparently for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, there was also initially one movie theatre that was only available to watch about a few weeks before the release. After a bit there was a truckload of releases for DS given how popular it is. Obviously I'm not expecting a handful of theatres to show Lupin, but at the very least they could at least give us more locations here in Toronto along with the rest of Canada when it's almost time for the release.

(Btw I'm curious since I don't do this often but do y'all get your tickets online or buy them in person?)

If you're traveling over a half hour to get somewhere and it's a limited event thing it's a good idea to buy them in advance online. For me, I'm not gonna make a 2 hour drive without being sure I have a seat.

I think for this I would buy my ticket in advance. IDK but it might include seat selection. And if somehow there is enough interest for an extra screening, reserving would let them know the demand in advance.

It feels like 3 showings at 1 theatre is like... some minimal contractural obligation to show, "hey look we showed it". IDK how this gets worked out.

Making it available to independent/rep cinemas would create some extra possibilities. The Revue in Toronto would be a great place to go for it.

A friend mentioned Toronto Yonge/Dundas showing at the same times as the Richmond Hill ones. Said friend already bought my ticket for the 7pm showing haha oops

But if folks can make it to this one instead, it's way more accessible by subway!
