gotta say i feel like the first one is a bit stronger than this one in terms of pure quality of the specials. Island of Assasins and Tokyo Crisis are carrying this one for sure though and having those two in physical media might make this worth it

The fact that we already got a second is surprising but a 3rd special collection would be preordered by me immediately. Literally the only stinker in that is the columbus files which is more mid than anything egregiously bad. But then you got Missed by a Dollar, Alcatraz Connection, Episode Zero First Contact, and Operation Return the Treasure. That is literally like the dream package. Also Lupin The 3rd The Third is funny.

Oh really! where did you hear this? Their remaster and subbing for The Castle of Cagliostro was excellent.

Okay, so I just assumed that the remaster I saw was the Gkids one that was shown at the IFC centre back in back in 2021- makes total sense though because the re master I saw in cinemas came out the same time as the new steelbook and 4k. Any idea what happened to that Gkids restoration? Dropped a trailer and everything just to give it a limited releases in like two cities I believe?
