If you're a die hard Lupin III fan (well that's what this whole community is about) or a monkey punch fan in general.
I'm sure most of us have heard of the forgotten satellite aired anthology variety series monkey mankatsu or just simply mankatsu which is what it exactly sounds like, a show features a collection of works based off monkey punch's non Lupin works, now he might be famous for creating our favorite beloved thief but his other works mostly doesn't get alot attention (at least not in America but some cult following in Japan?) and relatively obscure.
The other thing with Kazuhiko Kato's works is that none of them has gained any adaptation anime or likewise but the only other manga that got adapted (as far from my assumption) would be the 1991 OVA title Monkey Punch no sekai Alice which is the first adaptation that incorporate his quirky and raunchy style that we always attribute, however when I started to watch Mankatsu I wasn't particular sure why I needed to watch this since I was using the Lupin III watchlist, (that willow provide it us awhile ago) mainly to checkmark every Lupin media that I watch however mankatsu was a different experience as I only wanted to be consumed with Lupin III and not anything else made by the same creator, which in my opinion would be a bit difficult to get into regardless of availability and translations.
Even after I got done watching Mankatsu a question started to tinkerer around my head, how would people now look at this today, so I only want to make this thread as question to see from you guys if y'all wanna have a discord group watch to rewatch the entirety of mankatsu just to see at the end how much does the series hold up today like agreeing on being remembered or should it really be forgotten like if an actual monkey would throw away a banana peel or just do it in a general discussion.
But once again this just a discussion about if we should do a watch activity or a simple said discussion than I would like to hear y'all's feedback and maybe give this more support.
