Doing spoilers for people that still haven't seen all of the series yet (I've met a lot of people still working their way through which fair, it is a lot).

So, my question is which parts are your favorite finales? I don't super dislike each finale, but for me part 1 is still my favorite finale. Part 5 was... something. Mixed feelings on it, there were things I did like for sure.

But, yeah, which part had a cool or fun finale for you and why?

My thing for part 1 is I thought it had a nice balance of Lupin vs Zenigata and the plans changing just like part 1 likes to do (one of the pros to it tbh) and also that crazy ass thing to avoid exploding still make me laugh. Just disappeared right through that fridge lol. Also, sea turtle! I like sea turtles, my favorite animal. I wanna redraw Zenigata riding one lol.

I personally really like the Part 3 Finale, it's the perfect ending for such an off the wall show as Part 3 with them stealing the Nuke Boat and the diffrent goverments coming into the conflict while being a mix of parody and Cold War temprament.
I am really glad the concept was used again and exspanded in that really great special.

Goodbye my beloved Lupin is a good episode, but it does not fit into the rest of Part 2, so I had to choose the last of Part 3. And it's just really fun.

I haven't seen the last episode of Part 1 in a while and the one of Part 3 at all, so I can't comment on them, but in the more plot-driven series, the finale has often been the weakest part of the series for me. The endings in this franchise don't always stick the landing in my opinion because that's when everything has to be reset for the credits to roll, no matter how epic or ground-breaking the plot was just a couple of minutes ago (see Part 6). So the less the final episode feels like an ending to something, the better it works for me, I guess.

Maybe Zero had the best finale since it was actually the beginning of something, so it didn't feel like everything that happened was meaningless.

Oh yeah I forgot about part 3's finale! I just started rewatching part 3 since I finished rewatching part 2, and yeah while part 2's finale was like fun to look at animation wise, it reaaaally didn't fit with the rest of the tone of Lupin's character for part 2.

Yeah I kind of feel the same way actually. Part 5's last episode, while having a lot of good stuff in it too, was especially a mess because of it having such a weak and lame antagonist focus with Ami's stupid ass dad.

Should've just made Albert the part 5 villain cause I could not have given even less of a shit about Ami's dad. Zenigata should've just adopted her or something. What was that five second bullshit of suddenly caring about his kid again??? Also was anticlimactic yeah.
