Anyone wanna order the Figurama diorama for 500$ ?

Several years ago I participated in a Figurama giveaway for their very elaborate Lupin 3rd diorama with the Fiat 500, Lupin, Fujiko and Jigen mid chase. I didn't win but I signed up to a waitlist anyway.

I JUST received an email about some of the units being available due to cancellations

- I have 48h to use the waitlisted spot, but don't really want to spend 495$ (plus shipping) on this right now. So I'm offering it here ^^

Does anyone else want to make use of this opportunity? Just let me know, I'll be checking my notifs here

Oh yeah I also got the email!! I initially accepted it, but I ended up never starting the payments.

I did a little research on the brand, and I came up with not much more than a Reddit thread that had people talking about extreme wait times between their payments and shipping. There was also a mention of poor communication from the company to the customer, which is really unfortunate because the piece is one I have been DROOLING over for years.

I would just be wary and do your research, I'm also going to Japan in September so I'm just hoping to find something else there, even if it's a little trinket which is also why I didn't proceed with the $500+ bill.

That's not logistics/customer service. That's basically indistinguishable from a scam. It's a competence level of "I am wearing underpants on my head" and that's being very generous,

We got that email finally too, after all this time and I honestly just decided it wasn't worth that much to me, considering that 500 bucks can honestly buy you a LOT and I just didn't think I would appreciate it enough to warrant the cost, even if it's a lovely figure! I hadn't heard these buyer bewares but even if they weren't acting shady, I decided against it.

I ended up buying 100 bucks of Lupin dojinshi from Mandarake instead and taking care of some home repairs, I don't regret it haha
