My Castle of Cagliostro collage, part of my Lupin sketchbook project. I'm making a page for every movie I watch in the order I watch them. I try and fill the whole page with all my favorite moments and write down any quotes or stupid jokes me and my friends made while we were watching.

First Contact and Voyage to Danger pages. First Contact was super fun, I was endlessly amused by the immediate death of Brad. I didn't really like Voyage on my initial watch but making the page actually lead me to appreciate it more. I lost my marbles when the dude resurrected at the end, what was up with that? Was he meant to be wearing a bullet-proof vest or something? It looked like he just rejected the bullet!

Thank you! I'm defiantly planning on turning them into posters so I can have them in my dorm, but I had someone mention having them on blankets which would be awesome. I'd like to redo the Cagliostro pages before that though, I think they could defiantly be better. I couldn't take Shade serious lol, the man was trying to hard, but I like him anyway!

Never have I ever heard anything as atrociously bad as the dub for this movie, I cried, literally brought to tears laughing. Was it just me or was the sound design (in both the sub and dub) really weird? I felt like there was an abnormal amount of atmospheric/ background sound-effects. Loved the car chase and the animation in general.

Loved the character designs and animation for this one, but I felt Goemon was sorta snubbed in his own movie. I felt like I didn't really know what he was feeling or thinking (unless he was literally crying). I was floored by the cartoon tomfoolery, the rubber duck? I had to pause I laughed so hard!

I personally love the gold of Babylon art and the added lyrics of the song on the image that Rosetta sings in the movie and it also perfectly captures the character designs from the film 10/10

Thank you! I love the art style as well, even if they get crazy off model (it adds to the charm). That song gets stuck in my head all the time!

Thank you! It's something I've never really done before but I've really fallen in love with making them. Composing them is very mediative, and it's helped slow me down so I don't burn through the franchise to quickly lol.

I HATE this movie but I also LOVE it. It's so bad and it's hilarious. The movie jiggles boobs in your face like keys, desperately trying to keep your attention. Lupin doesn't do jack all for the whole runtime, and you can not convince me that Fujiko did not get SCORCHED wearing that outfit in the dessert lol!

The Fujiko ones are kinda mid, I started drawing and then got confused about what I wanted for her design. I was trying to draw in my own style for these as opposed to mimicking one of the movies. Needs some tweaking, but drawing these two was fun. I'm working on a fan-comic btw, it's taking longer than I thought it would lol... turns out making those things take time! Who knew? It'll be a vague reimagining of Twilight Gemini cause I liked the setting and Sadachiyo a whole lot, I made up a backstory in my head and then literally forgot that shit wasn't in the movie.

Thank you, that means a lot. I used to be really restrained with my colors, but I like this style a whole lot better!
